Hi guys! My name is Michelle Lian and I am an international student from Myanmar. Apart from being the VP of DEI, I volunteer as the International Orientation Leader, work at the University Book Center and prior that, I used to work as a peer tutor and barista here in the US. Diversity and Inclusion Committee

Responsible for upholding the diversity and inclusion goals of Smith within both the internal and external SUSA bodies. Through three standard projects each conducted on bi-semesterly bases - audit of SUSA clubs, collection and analysis of club demographic data, and diversity training for club leadership - this committee strives to spur continuous growth in SUSA’s external clubs via regulation and education. This committee also caters events for SUSA internal geared toward enhancing its own senses of community and inclusion.

Hi I’m Lucia, a junior majoring in Finance and Economics at the Smith School of Business. I am originally from Slovakia, and I've been studying in the U.S. for almost 4 years now. I’m also a transfer student from Montgomery College, where I was actively involved in leadership and business initiatives. As part of SUSA, I’m involved in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, where I love collaborating with others to enhance the Smith experience and create a more inclusive community. Outside of school, I’m passionate about weight training, traveling, and making the most of summer festival season!

Hi, my name is Meghana Katragadda, and I am a sophomore majoring in finance . Outside of SUSA,I am involved in Smile From Miles as the Co-Sponsorship Chair and participate and I am a member of the Smith Business Leadership Fellows and serve on the Programming Board. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, dancing, and engaging in community-driven initiatives.

I was a STEM Scholar at FCC, attending various academic conferences to learn more about different research projects and conducting my own. I transferred into UMD in Fall 2024 and love all the different Smith events such as Smith in the City! Some of my hobbies include going to cafes, hanging out with friends, and listening to music!
